One plan working for a particular person may or may not work for another. This will result in no weight loss. Cutting on food is not a way to lose weight, but cutting on calorie is. So when you plan to lose weight, make sure you cut down your calories. You must avoid high trans-fat food, sugar, junk and other bad fats. Instead you can include high fibre, proteins, vitamins and minerals to your diet. There are many diet charts that say you need this much calorie to burn weight. Actually a person should eat according to his body and the food should be rich in proteins, high fibre, vitamins and minerals.

Many people go with the thinking that eating healthy food is doing good for them. Yes! Eating healthy food is good until you keep it to normal diet and not over consume it. Eating any food more than its needed is going to increase your weight. Having a healthy breakfast and then skipping lunch due to busy schedule and then overeating in the evening will not help in weight reduction. Weight loss means burning more energy than you are consuming during the day. So have small portions of healthy meal according to your body and workout well. Having large meals three times a day will not result in weight loss.

A good sleep is more useful than anything else. It’s a perfect gift to yourself where you can get rid of many problems. If you’ve got a good night’s sleep, then your body will react positively to all the activities going on and you won’t be tired all the day. Not getting enough sleep means you are tired which will make you feel hungry. Less sleeping triggers your hormones making you feel hungry and this doesn’t allow you to lose weight. Researches show that people with 4 hours of sleep eat more. A good sleep makes you feel fresh and you can start your day with exercise which wouldn’t make you feel heavy. So have a good 7-8 hours of sleep everyday.

Not drinking enough water

Drinking water is the most important one can do to keep oneself healthy. Keeping yourself hydrated helps in weight loss.A  Study says that drinking water before meals will help you eat smaller portions. They reduce our craving which helps us not consume unnecessary amount of food. Veggies and fruits contain water and eating them fills up much faster than any other food. A small study revealed that drinking cold water increases our metabolism and discourage sugary drinks like juice and soda. That’s why drinking 3-4 litres of water everyday is advised.

People are stressful these days because of their personnel and professional lives. Stress disturbs a person mentally and to avoid it people see comforting them with food. Stress can result in overeating which can be of healthy food too. When people are in stress, they eat too much even if it’s healthy food. Stress is one of the major factors that make us eat more.  During stress a hormone name cortisol is released which increases the amount fat stored in our body. Researches have shown that higher amount of cortisol is linked to visceral fat. So if you are stressed indulge in some hobbies or meditation.
