Ariana Grande’s Manchester Benefit Concert Raises Millions Of Money…
One Love Manchester concert by Ariana Grande and other singers got major success in raising funds and honoring the victims of terror attacks that took place in Manchester on May 22. There were 22 people killed and almost 100 injured in this attack at her concert. According to the British Red Cross, this concert raised over 12.4 million dollars, while the amount went to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund that is coordinated by Manchester city council and British Red Cross. The online donations alone included 2.5 million dollars, while the live Facebook airing of concert raised $440,000 donated by 22,000 people.
Ariana Grande was the host of the concert and performed too, and the other performers were Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, The Black Eyed Peas, Robbie Williams, Liam Gallagher, Pharrell Williams, Little Mix, Niall Horan and Coldplay. Ariana also sang with other artists like Miley Cyrus.
Ariana also performed ‘one last time’ as a charity single and sang the emotional song “Somewhere over the rainbow” that left everyone with tears including herself. The social media supported a lot and Ariana’s performance got many likes and there were also the police officers dancing with some attendees that got the most attention socially.
