The director of Titanic, James Cameron is all set to create a documentary of this historical film together with National Geographic to mark Titanic’s 20th anniversary. It’s difficult to believe that it been two decades since this epic romance- disaster film released. The documentary is set to be aired in December on NatGeo channel.
Titanic starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet has always been our beloved movie and is still the second- highest grossing film. The director collaborating with National Geographic is making this one-hour documentary named Titanic: 20th Anniversary as a tribute to this iconic film that will basically feature the journey and the choices of the director while making the film.
Cameron expressed his excitement in a statement to Entertainment Weekly, “When I wrote the film, and when I set out to direct it, I wanted every detail to be as accurate as I could make it, and every harrowing moment of the ship’s final hours accounted for.” He further said, “I was creating a living history; I had to get it right out of respect for many who died and for their legacy. But did I really get it right? Now, with National Geographic and with the latest research, science, and technology, I’m going to reassess.”
This inspirational movie was based on real life disaster and terrific love story of Jack and Rose and in the documentary they will be using modern technology and an expert will be visiting the Titanic to analyze the accuracy of the film. This is a must watch documentary for all the Titanic fans, as we can never get enough of discovering more about Titanic.
