London Terror Attack: All The Latest Updates You Need To know…
This terror attack took place on the streets of London for the third time in three months in UK on Saturday evening, after the first one that took place on Westminster Bridge in March and the other one on the Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester before two weeks. According to the police, seven people were killed near the London Bridge and 50 people injured were taken to five different hospitals while 18 are still in critical condition. Four of the police officers were also injured and the police says they know the identity of the three attackers.
One of the attackers named Khalid Masood, born in Kent is recently found to be living in West Midlands. He was one who killed three people by driving a car into pedestrians near the bridge and was believed of having two knives. Later, he was shot dead by the police after he killed an officer who served for 15 years with parliamentary.
Masood was claimed to have several convictions of assaults and carrying offensive weapons previously in past. The police have arrested five men and two women from West Midlands after searching many addresses overnight in London and other parts of the country. According to the eyewitnesses, a taxi driver said he saw a van coming from the Bridge itself and went between the traffic signals knocking loads of people down in the steps. Then three of the men came out with long knives and randomly began stabbing people in the Borough streets. The other witness, Will Heaven who was himself being stabbed, said he saw lots of people injured on road and the pavement.
The US president and Leaders of Canada, Spain, France and Germany have promised full support to UK after the attack. Both the armed and unarmed forces have been increased in the city and the extra security is quite visible in London. There is no one who claimed the responsibility of this terror attack.
