This movie is directed by a British filmmaker James Erskine, Shiva Anand is the writer and A.R. Rahman composed music for it. In this, Sachin Tendulkar, Anjali Tendulkar, Ajit Tendulkar and Sara Tendulkar acted their own role as themselves, whereas Mayuresh acted as Nitin Tendulkar and some other casts are also included with the real footage clips of Harsha Bhogle, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh acted in the same role as what they are. This movie has been released today (26.05.2017) nationwide as they have taken shots in Hindi, Marathi and English and dubs in Tamil and Telugu with the duration of 2 hours 19 minutes.
The story is all about how a 10 year old Sachin watches the first world cup trophy in 1983 and his victory in the 2011 world cup is screened. It pictures the passion and dedication of the legend in the sports. It movie has been directed only after having some interviews with his friends and colleagues. This documentary not only reveals about his career, but also with his personal life. The scenes like, the bond which he has with his father, kids and the coach rolls out your tears.
Sachin: A Billion Dreams give us exactly what it promises: a glowing portrait of a sports star and a legend-in-his-lifetime, whose fortunes are connected to a billion dreams, hopes and aspirations of cricket-mad India.
